Maya is 35 years old. She is the administrator in the company that produces buses.
When she thinks of the future of Serbia, Maja is not so optimistic that things will get better. But what she would like to see is a country that uses and promotes its potential, especially in the field of tourism.
The positive sides of Serbia are its size, as well as the cultural contents that can be seen. “Everything more accessible here than in some larger city. Also, with a little money, many things can be enjoyed. There are many free cultural shows. ”
What she considers worrying is the value systems. “We have a wrong system of values. Bad things are being promoted and those promoting them become our role models. Today’s children, little girls go to the beauty saloons to get their hair done, to get manicure, pedicure and make-up. I don’t think that’s good. They have to deal with some other things that are adequate for children and not for adults.”
Perhaps Maja at first glance looks like a skeptical person who questions many things, but when one gets to know her better, they can see a positive, interesting person, who knows how to be a true friend and who always finds you when you need her.
