Nikola

Nikola, a 29-year-old graduate from the Faculty of Technical Sciences with a degree in Industrial Management, is the owner of a company specializing in wood and glass engraving and cutting.

In his vision of the future Serbia, Nikola wishes for a different political scene, expressing a desire for change among the politicians.

One of the positive aspects that Nikola appreciates in Serbia is the relaxed lifestyle compared to some Western countries. Drawing from his experience as a member of a folklore group, which allowed him to travel extensively throughout Europe, he believes that the Serbian way of life is more laid-back. While in Belgrade, people may be caught up in the hustle and bustle of work, in his hometown, the atmosphere remains much more relaxed, offering ample time to spend with friends, go to the cinema, and enjoy leisurely activities.

However, poverty is a concerning issue in Serbia, as it persists at a high level. Nikola believes that achieving a higher standard of living would not necessarily result in a better quality of life, similar to the citizens of Western Europe. The essence, he argues, is to work to live, not the other way around.

Nikola has crafted a life that aligns with his desires. He values his work, which allows him sufficient free time for family and friends, and as a young entrepreneur, he is thriving in his pursuits.
