Silvan

Silvan, aged 20, is currently enrolled in a music high school. He was born in Croatia but has been living in Serbia since the age of nine.

When it comes to considering the future of Serbia, Silvan acknowledges the need for change, but he believes that the change should be primarily spiritual rather than purely economic or related to a higher standard of living. He emphasizes that a shift in people’s spiritual thinking is essential for overall improvement. Silvan holds a unique perspective on government, perceiving it as a somewhat distant and puzzling entity from the viewpoint of an individual uninvolved in politics. He reflects on the irony that people elect the government and then often express dissatisfaction with it, but he personally prefers to distance himself from political matters.

Silvan’s current concern lies in the materialistic tendencies of many people. He observes that financial status and physical appearance have taken precedence over spiritual values in society. Silvan believes that individuals should serve as beacons, radiating a positive influence that touches people’s hearts. He hopes that positive individuals can inspire others to change, as he sees a paradox in Serbia where many desire change, yet resist personal transformation.

Silvan is a modest student who is committed to serving others through his unwavering faith and belief that every person in the world can and should be a guiding light that benefits others according to God’s will. Whether through his music, prayers, discussions about spirituality, or simple actions like properly disposing of garbage, he aims to exemplify the idea that small acts can have significant impacts.
